Hand Pieced Crazy Quilt Blank Note Card

I hate to throw away any little bits of my gorgeous papers so I save them up. I finally figured I would make a Crazy Quilt card out of them. This card is absolutely unique, all pieced together to highlight the beautiful textures, colours and designs. Contains Amy Butler paper, Basic Gray papers and others. Then to make it even more authentic, I highlight each little piece of paper with various rub-on stitches, just like a real crazy quilt. Parting with this one will be hard, for you AND me. Card is blank inside.

Card measures 5.5"x4.25" (14cm x 10.8cm) and comes with an envelope for re-mailing.

Cricket Match Mini & Micro Notebooks

I made this little set of Cricket Match Notebooks from some of the prettiest papers ever. They are a bevy of beautiful blues and greens, with distressed finishes and lots of character. I just love them!

They are done in a matchbook style with the staple hidden under the folds of the Mini. The white paper inside is hand cut and measures 3x2 inches in the Mini and 2x2 inches in the micro. The covers are slightly wider and longer. Perfect for carrying about in your purse or pocket. Keep one in your car, at the office, by the phone. Write a little love note or a honey-do list. These little notebooks have as many uses as paper does.

Steampunk is SO cool!

I've recently discovered that I have always loved Steampunk. I just didn't know what it was. According to Wikipedia Steampunk "came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works of fictional technological inventions set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often set in Victorian era England". I believe my fascination with it dates back to the days of my favourite television show in the 80's, "Voyagers!" with Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce and the "Omni" device they used to carry them back and forth through time.

Here are some great SteamPunk finds currently for sale on Etsy:
